Malevo, the all-male dance group from Argentina, has become a worldwide sensation with more than one million views on YouTube. Named an official “Cultural Ambassador to the National Identity of Argentina”, the South American ensemble has given sold-out performances in major cities across the USA, Europe and Australia, and has collaborated with the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin and Cirque du Soleil, winning rave reviews and a legion of dedicated fans. 

Artistic Director Matías Jaime founded Malevo to re-envision the traditional malambo folk dance for contemporary audiences, staying true to its heritage while elevating and modernising it by fusing its classic techniques with flamenco and other genres, and adding a live band on stage. As they spin, leap and stomp, the vertiginous speed and ferocious energy of their dancing, and their strength, fluidity, astonishing control and masculine grace, all combine to create a breathtaking spectacle which will enthral audiences of all ages.
